Fishbowl: "Unable to read accounting properties"

What it means

This error appears when Fishbowl attempts to access accounting properties during an operation but can’t retrieve all of them. Usually this indicates accounting configuration is incomplete or some GL accounts aren’t available to the current session.

What to check

• Verify that your GL chart of accounts is complete and all accounts are marked as active
• Confirm your accounting setup in the Accounting module has been fully configured with all required fields
• Check whether any GL accounts were recently modified, marked inactive, or deleted
• If accounting setup changes were made recently, confirm they were saved successfully and completed without interruption
