Fishbowl: "Tax rate already selected for order"

What it means

This message appears when you try to select a tax rate that’s already applied as the order’s main (overall) tax rate. Most commonly, you’re attempting to add a tax rate when that exact rate is already set for the order.

What to check

• Identify the order’s current overall tax rate (usually visible on the main order form)
• Determine whether the tax rate you’re trying to apply is the same as the overall rate
• If they match, that’s the issue—you can’t apply the same rate twice
• If you need to use a different tax rate, select another one instead
