Fishbowl: "Receipts and/or shipments must be fulfilled or entered"

Q: Why does Fishbowl say "The receipts and/or shipments must be fulfilled or entered in order to close short this Purchase Order."?

This Purchase Order has receipts or shipments that aren't yet fulfilled or entered. Fishbowl requires them to be completed before you can close the PO short—meaning accept partial delivery and close out the unfulfilled balance.

What it means

When closing a Purchase Order short, you’re accepting partial delivery and closing the rest of the PO. Fishbowl requires that any receipts already on the PO are marked fulfilled and any shipments are marked entered. This locks in what actually arrived before you close the remaining balance.

What to check

Does this PO have receipts or shipments recorded? Check the PO’s receiving/shipment section.
Are they fulfilled (for receipts) or entered (for shipments)? Look at their status—they can’t be in draft or incomplete state.
If they’re still in progress, complete that receiving or shipment step first, then retry closing short.
