Every purchase order line must have a unit cost—the price per unit you are paying the vendor. At least one line in your order is missing this value.

What it means

Each line item requires a unit cost before the PO can be saved. This is a core validation: Fishbowl won’t let you create an order without knowing what you’re paying per unit.

What to check

Identify which line item triggered the error (usually the last one you added or edited).
Verify the vendor quote or price agreement for the correct unit cost.
Enter a numerical value in the unit cost field for that line item.
