Fishbowl: "Cannot unissue this purchase order"

What it means

Unissuing reverses an issued PO back to an earlier state. Fishbowl restricts this to Issued and Pending Approval statuses. Once a PO moves past those states (usually when goods are received or the order is closed), unissuing is no longer permitted.

What to check

• Open the PO and check its current status field
• If it shows Received, Closed, Canceled, or similar, unissuing is not supported from that state
• Verify whether the PO needs to be modified through a different process or if the received goods must be reversed first
