Why does Fishbowl say "You do not have rights to the inventory module. Please contact system administrator to gain additional rights."?

Fishbowl shows this when the user's group lacks the Inventory View access right. The Pick screen has an inventory button that requires this permission to display inventory data. Enable the right in Setup > User Groups, or the restriction may be intentional to control inventory access.

What triggers it

When a user clicks the inventory button on the Pick screen, Fishbowl checks if their group has the Inventory View access right. This dialog appears if the right is not enabled.

The fix

Go to Setup > User Groups.
Select the user’s group.
Open the Inventory module settings.
Enable the “View” access right.
Have the user log out and back in for the change to take effect.

If inventory access is intentionally restricted, leave it disabled and document the reason in your access control policy.
