Fishbowl: "This item is already being built"

What it means

An item you’re trying to use in a sales order is already assigned to an active manufacturing or build order. Fishbowl prevents the same item from being committed to multiple production orders at the same time.

What to check

• Search for any active production or build orders for this item in your manufacturing system
• Verify the status of any existing build orders to see if one is still marked in-progress, active, or similar
• Note what status is shown for the conflicting order—understanding its current state will clarify why the item is unavailable
