# Fishbowl: Sales Order modified—save before Unissue

> A Sales Order has unsaved changes and must be saved before you can change its issued status.

## What it means
When you modify a Sales Order—changing items, quantities, pricing, or other details—and then attempt to Unissue it, Fishbowl won't allow the status change until you save those edits. This is a typical safeguard to ensure data consistency: status changes are blocked when modifications are still pending.

## What to check
- Check for unsaved-changes indicators in the Sales Order interface (usually marked visually)
- Save the Sales Order
- Try the Unissue operation again
