# Fishbowl: "Sales Order already issued"

> Sales Order is in a state where the requested action is no longer allowed.

## What it means
Once a Sales Order is issued in Fishbowl, it moves to a protected state. Most changes to the order itself are no longer allowed — the system treats it as committed. This error appears when you attempt an operation that requires the SO to still be in draft or open status.

## What to check
- Whether the Sales Order status is currently "Issued" (or a similar locked state)
- What action you're attempting: editing line items, quantities, prices, or trying to change the status
- Whether you need to revert the SO to an earlier state (if permitted by your workflow) before making changes
