## What it means

This receipt line item cannot be voided because it's in a status that blocks the void operation. In most ERP systems, receipt items can usually be voided only in early states, before they've been received into inventory or processed further.

## What to check

- Identify what status value is shown in the complete error message (it continues after "The status is")
- Determine the current state of this item: is it sitting in early receipt processing, or has it moved into inventory, been consumed, allocated, or transferred?
- If reversal is needed, consider whether an inventory adjustment, vendor return, or other process is more appropriate than a void
