# Fishbowl: Out sourced items in transit

> Outsourced items awaiting receipt are blocking your current operation.

## What it means
Outsourced items (components sourced or manufactured externally) are currently in a transit status. These items have been shipped but not yet received into inventory. The operation you're attempting (usually receiving, closing a PO, or completing a work order) won't proceed until these in-transit items are received first.

## What to check
- Look for outsourced items in transit, typically visible in your Receiving module or the associated purchase order.
- Receive those items before proceeding with your original operation.
- If the items are supposed to be received but don't appear, verify they're assigned to the correct transit location.
