# Fishbowl: Cost mismatch between finished goods and raw materials

> The total cost allocated to finished goods doesn't match the raw material costs in a manufacturing order.

## What it means
When manufacturing an order, Fishbowl allocates the total raw material cost to the finished goods produced. This error appears when those two totals don't match—usually because raw material costs, finished goods quantities, or the bill of materials changed after the order was already in production or complete.

## What to check
- Verify the raw materials and their costs match what was used when the order was created
- Confirm the finished goods quantity hasn't changed since the order was entered
- Check the bill of materials for any recent changes
- Look at the manufacturing order status to see if it's partial or complete
