## What it means
An item you're trying to use in a sales order is already assigned to an active manufacturing or build order. Fishbowl prevents the same item from being committed to multiple production orders at the same time.

## What to check
- Search for any active production or build orders for this item in your manufacturing system
- Verify the status of any existing build orders to see if one is still marked in-progress, active, or similar
- Note what status is shown for the conflicting order—understanding its current state will clarify why the item is unavailable
