# Fishbowl: Cannot unissue sales order (pending manufacturing work)

> You're trying to reverse a sales order, but active manufacturing work is still tied to it.

## What it means

When you unissue a sales order, you're reversing it. Fishbowl prevents this if there are still Work Orders (the manufacturing tasks created to fulfill that sales order) that are issued or in progress. The Manufacture Order that spawned those Work Orders also needs to be unissued first.

## What to check

- Verify whether the Work Orders associated with this sales order are still in an active state (issued, in progress, or similar).
- Check the Manufacture Order status—is it still marked as issued?
- These dependencies usually need to be unwound before the sales order can be unissued.
